Lt. Col. Brian James, of Vancouver, Wash., the commander of Task Force Atlas, 141 Brigade Support Battalion, Oregon National Guard, 13th Sustainment Brigade (Expeditionary), and Col. Hameed Albujleeb, cheif of Al Anbar province highway patrol in Ramadi, continue the cordial relationship set up by the previous unit, Task Force Avalanche, 56th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, Texas National Guard. The relationship has seent he implementation of green flags, flares and lights to inform the local traffic when it is safe to pass a convoy secured by TF Atlas. The green indicators should limit the number of possible casualties to the Iraqi nationals.
