Marine Lance Cpl. Antoine Sanders verifies a roster with Lt. Col. Valery Putz of the French Foreign Legion as a team from the French Foreign Legion's 13th Demi-Brigade arrive on USS Nassau, March 31, 2010. The team of French soldiers traveled from the east-African country of Djibouti to meet with commanding officers of the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit, Amphibious Squadron 8, and USS Nassau as part of a key leader engagement between the two countrie's services in an effort to reinforce military ties and familiarize the French troops with the unique relationship of the Marine-Navy team.
