U. S. Air Force Weatherman, Master Sgt. John Gaona of Pope Air Force Base, N.C. provides instruction on the correct method to clamp in when performing a static jump while speaking with members of the Royal Thai Air Force Parachute Team, March 3, while participating in Cope Tiger 2010 at Dom Muang RTAFB just outside of Bangkok, Thailand. More than 60 jumpers will jump from a C-17 Globemaster III. This is Cope Tiger's first real event to start the two week exercise, which tests the cooperation between U.S. Forces and Royal Thai Air Forces. The exercise runs March 1-12.
