An Iraqi Capt. attached to 2nd Battalion, 52nd Brigade receives a block of instruction from U.S. Army 1st Lt. Patrick Pirkle with 1-377 Field Artillery Regiment, 17th Fires Brigade, 1st Infantry Division during a joint patrol through Qarmat Ali, Iraq, Feb. 19. The joint patrol was conducted to talk to the local population about the indirect fire that has come from their district.
