Air Cav undertakes sling load in support of aviation mission

A combination of Soldiers from 1st Air Cavalry Brigade, 1st Cavalry Division, U.S. Division - Center, and 3rd Infantry Division attach a cable holding a container unit to a CH-47F Chinook helicopter, as part of a sling load. The Chinook, which belongs to Company B, 2nd Battalion, 227th Aviation Regiment, 1st ACB, transported the container to Obeidi, Feb. 10, an outpost on the Iraqi border where 1st ACB has set up a temporary Forward Arming and Refueling Point in support of aviation operations.
