Wounded Warriors visit Air Cav on journey back to Iraq

Soldiers from 1st Air Cavalry Brigade, 1st Cavalry Division, U.S. Division - Center, shake hands with wounded warriors who were visiting as part of Operation Proper Exit, a program designed to bring wounded veterans back to the places they were injured. Two of the wounded warriors, Sgt. Omar Avila (center) from Brownsville, Texas, and Sgt. Jay Fain (right) from Columbia, S.C., finish talking with 1st ACB Soldiers following a town hall meeting Feb. 4. The wounded veterans talked about never giving up or quitting - values held dear to the Army.
