Strapped into a hoist system 75 feet in the air, 1st Lt. Dennis Edwards from Baton Rouge, La., the forward support medevac team leader in Company C, 2nd Battalion, 227th Aviation Regiment, 1st Air Cavalry Brigade, 1st Cavalry Division, U.S. Division-Center, leans out of a UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter during a training exercise Jan. 21. The training was done to familiarize the medevac crew chiefs with hoist operations.
