Brig. Gen. Muhaiuddin Ghori, commanding general, 3rd Kandak, 205th Corps, Afghan National Army, is briefed on an ongoing scenario at a simulated forward operating base conducted at the School of Infantry during a visit Jan. 19. The delegation observed scenario-based training specifically adapted to familiarize Marines with situations they might encounter in Afghanistan. The Afghan officers also visited 1st Marine Expeditionary Force elements, strengthening command relationships during their two-week-long orientation.
