Lt. Col. William T. McCollough, Commander of 1st Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, talks to a group of Afghan men during a shura in Nawa District, Helmand Province, Afghanistan, on Nov. 10. Local Afghans gathered at the shura to discuss their issues and concerns. Citizens were asked to work together to defeat enemy insurgents causing problems in Nawa, by the District Governor Abdul Manaf.
