Lt. Paul Gundy, native of Hattiesburg, Miss., a Dental Officer assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 74, crosses the finish line of the first Marine Corps Marathon held in Afghanistan. The marathon is a satellite race to the 34th annual MCM held in Washington D.C. Gundy finished first of the 12 Navy participants and 13th overall. 245 participants finished the 26.2 mile race, which started and ended on Camp Leatherneck, Afghanistan.
