Soldiers from the 14th Iraqi Army Division and U.S. forces teamed up for a three-day detonation event eradicating approximately 7,500 pounds of explosives in a controlled detonation in Basrah province. "This detonation event is the direct result of the Iraqi army's efforts to search out and locate weapon caches across Basrah," said Tech Sgt. Ronnie Brickey, 407th Explosive Ordnance Disposal Team 3 leader, Basrah EOD Co., 17th Fires Brigade.
