Cpl. John Mensch with Combined Anti Armor Team 1, 1st Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, uses an axe to clear away loose bricks from a false wall after discovering illegal drugs and improvised explosive device making material while searching a compound in Nawa District, Helmand province, Afghanistan, Oct. 19, 2009.
