U.S. Army Staff Sgt. Adam Vinglas from Concord, N.C., attached to the 305th Psychological Operations Company, 17th Fires Brigade, gives a local Iraqi businessman a pen to check to see if he is receiving counterfeit money while conducting a joint patrol with Iraqi soldiers through Al Quarnah, Iraq, Oct. 9. The patrol was conducted to assess the Iranian influence in the community.
