Lt. Col. Paul D. Dismer, commander of the 541st Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, 10th Sustainment Brigade, and Command Sgt. Maj. Ian Griffin, command sergeant major of the 541st CSSB, conducted the unit's first in-theater promotion on Oct. 1. Rufino Agustin, a native of Jutlahuaca, Mexico, and non-commissioned officer in charge of the battalion S1 shop, was promoted from staff sergeant to sergeant first class.
