American and Egyptian paratroopers conduct sustained airborne training inside the mock paratroop door at Pope Air Force Base prior to a "friendship jump" airborne operation featuring airborne forces from five countries, including the U.S. 82nd Airborne Division. The jump was part of the Bright Star Exercise, a joint, multinational training exercise being held at Fort Bragg, N.C., from Sept. 28 - Oct. 12.
