Iraqi soldiers from the 49th Iraqi army Brigade demonstrate how to properly administer intravenous fluids during a five-day combat lifesaver course at their headquarters in Kirkuk province, Iraq, from late August. The training, provided by medics from 1st Battalion, 8th Cavalry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, and a Military Transition Team, not only instructed IA soldiers on advanced lifesaving skills, but will allow them to instruct other IA medics.
