A Company 949th Convoy Security Company based out of Killeen, Texas, receives their End of Tour Awards while serving under the 419th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, 10th Sustainment Brigade. Company Commander Cpt. Christopher Combest, from Fort Worth, Texas, 1st Sgt. Royce Harris, of Lubbock, Texas, Command Sgt. Maj. Paul Swanson, from Perris, Calif. and Maj. Julie Aksamit, of Irvine, Calif., congratulate the Soldiers on a job well done. The company began their tour at Camp Taji, Iraq, in December 2008. The unit provided convoy security for a number of 419th CSSB convoys.
