1st Lt. Jaciel Guerrero, a platoon leader with Headquarters and Headquarters Battery, 3rd Battalion, 82nd Field Artillery Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, bows his head in memory of Sgt. 1st Class Johnny Polk during a memorial service in his honor on Forward Operating Base Warrior, Kirkuk, Iraq, Aug. 8. Polk died, July 31, from wounds sustained from a grenade attack in Kirkuk city, Iraq, July 23.
