A U.S. Marine Corps instructor and a hospital corpsman assigned to the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit ensure the safety of Marines fast-roping from a static CH-46E Sea Knight helicopter aboard amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard. The 11th MEU is part of the Bonhomme Richard Amphibious Ready Group, currently underway conducting a Composite Training Unit Exercise in preparation for a scheduled deployment to the western Pacific Ocean later this year.
