Evacuation Exercise tests Paratroopers' flexibility

Paratroopers from 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, hurry up the ramp of a C-130 aircraft waiting to extract them at the completion of a noncombatant evacuation operation held at Camp Mackall, N.C., June 24-25. The exercise tested the unit's ability to deploy on short notice to help evacuate American citizens trapped in a war-torn Third-World country.
