Lance Cpl. Dux A. Lopez, an Administrative Clerk for Headquarters and Service Company, 3rd Battalion, 8th Marine Regiment, watches closely at traffic for possible threats to the base. Twenty-four hours a day and seven days a week, the Marines of guard force keep a watchful eye on everything that goes on in the city around them, constantly on the lookout for any suspicious activity.
