Tractor, Rubber-Tired, Articulated Steering, Multipurpose Vehicles load 7-ton trucks with roughly seven of the 20,000 cubic yards of dirt needed for the forward operating base being built at Camp Roberts, Calif., May 18. Marines with 7th Engineer Support Battalion, 1st Marine Logistics Group, conducted job specific training at Camp Roberts throughout May to improve the base and their skills for the upcoming deployment. The 7th Engineer Support Battalion is conducting its training at Camp Roberts due to the amount of available resources available to complete their field training exercise. The Army base also provides the area and resources necessary for the heavy equipment operators to hone their skills.
