A Soldier from the 103rd Expeditionary Sustainment Command, checks the gauges on a Babington Airtronic Burner on the Army Reserve’s newest piece of equipment, the Assault Kitchen. The mobile feeding system replaces the older Mobile Kitchen Trailer (MKT) and allows Soldiers to heat meals while on the move and to set up and feed troops within 30 minutes of arriving at their destination. The Soldiers are conducting training on the new AK at Fort A.P. Hill, Va., as part of Nationwide Move 15. Nationwide Move 15 is an annual Army Reserve approved functional training exercise designed to provide Reserve Component transportation units with valuable, realistic training by conducting real-world operations in support of Continental United States activities.
