The Tunner K-loader rated at 60,000 pounds is in position and ready to simultaniously move four pallets of cargo into the open 747 Freighter on April 18 at Travis Air Force Base, Calif. The deck has pitch roll, yaw and a side-to-side adjustment for quick interface with all military and commercial cargo aircraft. A ramp team of the 60th Aerial Port Squadron worked quickly to fill the 42 pallet positions in the contract air cargo jet from Evergreen's green and white 747 Freighter on April 18 at Travis Air Force Base, Calif. The cargo is destined for countries in the Pacific. The 11-person team including three drivers in 60k Tunner loaders who safely loaded 99,585 pounds of cargo in 90 minutes. The air crew was able to stay onboard the entire time and departed for its Pacific destinations: Hickam Air Force Base, Hawaii; Andersen Air Force Base, Guam; Osan Air Base, Republic of Korea; and Yokota Air Base, Japan.
