U.S. Marine Lance Cpl. Joseph Boyd throws a grappling hook to clear a lane for Marines during combined arms training aboard Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center, Twentynine Palms, Calif., Dec. 8, 2014. Boyd is a combat engineer with Battalion Landing Team 3rd Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment, 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit.
