Kodi Floyd, an MV-22B Osprey crew chief with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 365 (Reinforced), 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit, conducts a routine inspection aboard the USS Iwo Jima at sea Dec. 18, 2014. The 24th MEU, based out of Camp Lejeune, N.C., is currently deployed with the Iwo Jima Amphibious Ready Group and supporting operations in the U.S. 6th Fleet area of responsibility. The ARG/MEU team is a flexible, sea-based force designed to provide crisis response across the range of military operations, from humanitarian assistance to armed conflict.
