Santucci was promoted to captain in the Prefectura Naval Argentina, marking the first time an officer of the Prefectura Naval Argentina was promoted to the rank outside the geographic boundaries of Argentina, and the statue, which is reserved exclusively as a gift from the head of the Prefectura Naval Argentina, depicts a sailor of 1810, the year of the Prefectura's inception.
