Brig. Gen. Gabriel Troiano administers the oath of office in the National Archives Rotunda for the Charters of Freedom, Washington. The three new Army 2nd lieutenants, who recently graduated from George Mason University, in Fairfax, Va., raised their right hands and repeated the oath of commissioning in front of family members, cadre, the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution of the United States and the Bill of Rights.
