Sailors assigned to amphibious transport dock ship USS San Diego (LPD 22) browses through a selection of handcrafted pillowcase sent by members of the Heads at Ease Pillowcase Project, an organization that made and shipped nearly 600 pillowcases to deployed the service members. San Diego is a part of the Makin Island Amphibious Ready Group and, with embarked 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit, is deployed in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
