Members of Joint Forces Command – United Assistance and international organizations tour an Ebola treatment unit being built in support of Operation United Assistance, Dec. 15, 2014, Bopolu, Liberia. The purpose of the trip was to allow Command Sgt. Maj. Gregory Novak, JFC-UA’s senior enlisted advisor, to survey the progress of the ETU construction site. United Assistance is a Department of Defense operation in Liberia to provide logistics, training and engineering support to U.S. Agency for International Development-led efforts to contain the Ebola virus outbreak in western Africa.
