The support supply activity area of operations, in Buchanan City, which is manned by Task Force Lifeliner, is the only one of its kind in support of Joint Forces Command - United Assistance. The primary mission of the SSA is to provide supplies and resources to all JFC- UA units and Ebola treatment units. Operation United Assistance is a Department of Defense operation in Liberia to provide logistics, training and engineering support to U.S. Agency for International Development-led efforts to contain the Ebola virus outbreak in western Africa.
