Cpl. Ryder Ford, from Forest Hill, Maryland, punts a football during the first Turkey Bowl event sponsored by the United Service Organization Nov. 27 at Camp Hansen. The event consisted of three-man teams that competed in three different events: Longest pass, most accurate pass and longest distance punt. The winning team got their photo taken to hang in the USO until next Thanksgiving. Ford's team name was the Average Joes and scored 94 points spanning over the three events. Ford is an infantry assaultman with 1st Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment, currently assigned to 4th Marine Regiment under the unit deployment program. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Lance Cpl.
