    7th Mobile Public Affairs Detachment

Specialist Cara Lipford from Longmont, Colorado, competes against an Armed Forces of Liberia Soldier to see who can do the most sit-ups. Lipford, along with other members of the 62nd Engineer Battalion from Fort Hood, Texas, worked with the AFL to complete an Ebola treatment unit in Sinje, Liberia. The impromptu competition took place as part of a celebration after the Soldiers completed building the ETU. Operation United Assistance is a Department of Defense operation in Liberia to provide logistics, training and engineering support to U.S. Agency for International Development-led efforts to contain the Ebola virus outbreak in western Africa.
