    U.S. Army Lt. Col. Neal Woollen, United States Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases (USAMRIID) director of bio security, briefs U.S. Army soldiers and U.S. Air Force airmen on how to donn and doff personal protective equipment during hazardous material training Oct. 30, 2014, at Tripler Army Medical Center, Hawaii. Members of the USAMRIID conducted the class to help ensure service members and civilians are better prepared to react to and defend themselves against infectious diseases at TAMC. According to the U.S. Army Medical Department official website, the USAMRIID has spearheaded research to develop medical solutions in the form of vaccines, drugs, diagnostics and information, to protect military service members from biological threats.
