Two U.S. Army companies stand in formation for Joint Task Force-Bravo’s Medical Element transfer of authority ceremony between the 228th Combat Support Hospital and the 94th Combat Support Hospital on Soto Cano Air Base, Honduras, Oct. 31, 2014. Over the past two weeks the 228th CSH prepared the 94th CSH to take over their U.S. Southern Command mission. The JTF-B MEDEL is the only forward deployed medical asset with and enduring presence within SOUTHCOM.
