All things considered, I’d rather be flying. Coast Guard aviation survival technicians put members through wet drills training at Air Station Kodiak, Alaska, Oct. 21, 2014. All aircrew must conduct annual training that simulates the possible scenarios that may result in a need to emergency egress from the plane, and how to use their gear in a survival situation.
