Service members, their families and pets engage with personnel at booths during the Purple Paws for a Cause event hosted by the Marine Corps Community Services of Marine Corps Air Station Yuma, Ariz., and the Family Advocacy Program at Meyers Park Youth Sports Complex on station, Friday. The event was sponsored in support of domestic violence awareness month, which highlighted the correlation between domestic violence and animal abuse, and was open to service members, their families and pets.
