D’Arta Plage, Djibouti (Oct. 26, 2014) A landing craft, air cushion (LCAC) from Assault Craft Unit 5, Beachmaster Unit One, Amphibious Squadron Five (PHIBRON 5), transports Marines, Sailors and equipment to a beach during the initial phase of sustainment training at D’Arta Plage, Djibouti, Oct. 26. Marines from the 11th MEU are deployed a part of the Makin Island Amphibious Ready Group as a flexible, adaptable and persistent force in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
