Coast Guard rescue crews ended their search for an overdue Spanish boater who was found to not be in distress after being located at 6 p.m. Oct. 22, 2014 by the crew of a Coast Guard Auxiliary aircraft, aboard the 42-foot sailing vessel Sigrid, in the vicinity of Desecheo Island, Puerto Rico. Rafael Conti Cañada, 47, a citizen of Spain, was reported overdue to the Coast Guard after not arriving Oct. 20, 2014 to Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico from a one-man voyage that began in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Oct. 4, 2014. Conti continued to sail towards Cabo Rojo, where he is expected to arrive Thursday morning. (U.S. Coast Guard photo)
