Marines of Bravo Company, 2nd Law Enforcement Battalion based out of Camp Lejeune, N.C., held a transfer of authority ceremony with the 252nd Military Police Company based out of Cleveland, Tenn., Oct. 13, at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait. The ceremony marked the end of B. Company’s seven month deployment to Kuwait in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. During the ceremony, the 252nd MP Company assumed responsibility for theater customs operations from B Company. Brig. Gen. Daniel Mitchell, deputy commanding general of the 1st Sustainment Command (Theater) presided over the ceremony and praised the work of the Marines and said he knew the 252nd MP Company was ready to take over and succeed.
