Ryan Frushour, of Denver, a UH-60 Black Hawk Helicopter crew chief in Company B, 3rd Assault Helicopter Battalion, 227th Aviation Regiment, 1st Air Cavalry Brigade, 1st Cavalry Division, received an award from Harry Munn, of Hewitt, Texas, commander, Veteran of Foreign Wars post 6008, at Fort Hood, Texas, March 6. The award was in recognition for Spc. Frushour's rescue of an injured motorist on Dec. 31, 2008.
