WWII Veteran and former POW, Stewart Day of Bath, Maine looks a the screen while speaking to members of the Zumwalt Precommissioning Unit on POW/MIA Day, Sept 19. Day, 91, flew 19 missions as a Tail Gunner in a B-17 over Europe before being shot down and captured. He spent the last days of WWII in a Prisoner of War camp, known as Stalag 17B.
