An MV-22B Osprey with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 163 (Reinforced), 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit, lifts an AV-8B Harrier engine from the flight deck of the USS Makin Island, Sept. 14. The 11th MEU is deployed with the Makin Island Amphibious Ready Group as a theater reserve and crisis response force throughout U.S. Central Command and the U.S 5th fleet area of responsibility.
