On the ground and in the air …. it’s all about the teamwork. Aviation survival technicians Petty Officer 2nd Class Jonathan Kreske and Petty Officer 1st Class Bill Krahn work together with members of Kodiak Island Search and Rescue (KISAR) to hoist the survivor and basket to the awaiting MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter aircrew hovering above, during training exercises Aug. 30, 2014. The teamwork between Coast Guard Air Station Kodiak and KISAR provides critical assistance to hikers who may find themselves lost or in distress in the Alaska wilderness.
