Marines and sailors from Golf Co., 2nd Battalion, 2nd Marines, of Black Sea Rotational Force 14, adjusted the optics on their weapons Aug. 27 at a range near Mihail Kogalniceanu Air Base, Romania. Service members fired from 25 and 100 meters, attempting to hit center mass on their targets. Using the fired upon target as a guide, the rifle combat optics were adjusted to be more accurate. The company fired M16A4 service rifles, M4 carbines and M249 light machine guns. The range sustained combat skills and promoted mission readiness for the company.
