The Canadian Senior National Representative, Lt. Col. Douglas J. Fairley, handed over the Canadian National Support Unit building to the E-3A Component Commander, Maj. Gen. Andrew Mueller Aug. 28, 2014. This symbolic ceremony marked the end of the Canadian presence at the Component as today is the day that the last Canadian military member leaves NATO Air Base Geilenkirchen.
