Teammates Spc. Jacob Baker, Staff Sgt. William Chavis and 1st Lt. Mitchell Messick, successfully carried their “precious” cargo, an uncooked egg, through the team obstacle course event of the 7th Army Joint Multinational Training Command Best Warrior Completion Aug. 12. Baker, with the 7th Army Noncommissioned Officer Academy and Greenville, S.C., native, Chavis, a McColl, S.C., native with the 7th Army Noncommissioned Officer Academy, and Messick, a Fredericksburg, Va., native assigned to Company A, 1st Battalion, 4th Infantry Regiment, are competing in the three-day event with hopes they will move on to compete in the U.S. Army European Best Warrior Competition in September.
