    34th Red Bull Infantry Division

Medics of Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 1st Battalion, 168th Infantry Battalion, stake down a landing zone marker during medical evacuation training at Fort McCoy, Wis., Aug. 3. The Soldiers practiced medical extractions via hoist with the help of the flight medics and UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters from Company C, 2nd Battalion, 211th Aviation Regiment. This training opportunity gave the new medics hands-on experience with hoist evacuation procedures, which isn't commonly trained during initial entry training. The 1-168 Infantry Battalion, based out of Council Bluff, Iowa, is a part of the Iowa National Guard's 2nd Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 34th Infantry Division.
