An Amphibious Assault Vehicle belonging to 2nd Assault Amphibian Battalion, 2nd Marine Division plunges into the Atlantic Ocean during an amphibious training operation for well-deck qualifications with the USS Kearsarge in the waters off the coast of Camp Lejeune, N.C., July 31, 2014. The exercise gave the battalion a chance to qualify for amphibious operations by boarding and deploying from a Wasp-class amphibious assault ship.
