Afghan national police patrolled Delaram with the Marines of 1st Platoon, Company K, 3rd Battalion, 8th Marine Regiment (Reinforced), the ground combat element of Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force - Afghanistan, in search of illegal activity and contraband. SPMAGTF-A assists the government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in providing services and security to the Afghan people.
